I have a background in programming (C and C++ for Windows) so when I acquired my first Android phone I immediately wanted to write some apps... At the time I was carrying out some 3D modelling work for a client so I decided to write an STL file fiewer. This morphed into two versions, one just for STL files, the other also handles point clouds, but both versions are now free of charge.
- STL viewer and point cloud viewer (User guides here and here)
- OpenCV demo / tutorial (Details here and sample code here)
- A simple orrery (planetary motion of the solar system) written to demonstrate the code for Keppler's first two laws of planetary motion (details here).
I am a technical writer, and not looking for app development work, but my background means I am very comfortable working alongside software developers.
